Changing from one oil to another

I recently purchase a 2004 Honda CRV. The previous owner used
Pennzoil 5w20. I have been using Castrol GTX in all my vehicles.
Is it a good idea to change oil types in a used vehicle?
The Honda has 77,000 miles.

Some folks here would probably freak out if you change which hand you pour with . I've changed brands of oil and filter so many times I couldn't begin to count . Go for it .

Both good oils, you should be fine.
5w20 is what it calls for, correct?

YB 5w20 is hard to beat but use whatever you want to with no issues.

Change away all oils are interchangeable..Look at the ingredients in the UOAs they are more the same than different.

use what you like. I buy based on price. usually free after rebate.

Using a different oil will make zero difference...
