Change rear diff fluid in Rav4?

Very. Mostly all original parts. Changed out the starter, valve cover gasket, fuel pump, the driver's side sun visor, sway bar links and a couple brake calipers. And the radiator when I changed out the hoses and thermostat.

Great! Now what about an atf drain and fill or a line-off exchange? How many atf changes has it seen? In the past I think you've stated none or maybe one.



Let's not get crazy. I've changed out 3 qts over its life. The new hybrid Rav4s come out in a few weeks and then I'll be free to do more stuff. if it blows up, wife will get a new one. The transmission makes all kinds of weird noises. Wife insists it's fine and she wants a 2020 Rav4. We'll see if I can make it last that long.
