I am sure Pablo knows this, but I couldn't find it on the site anywhere or in the manual. Anyone know what the OCI is for the rear differential on an 06 Honda Odyssey? Any suggestions on fluid? I don't even know the weight of the oil to use or the spec.

I'm a moron. It's been a long day and for some reason I was thinking it had a diff because my Audi had a rear diff on a front wheel drive, but that wasn't a front wheel drive either - it was all wheel drive. Like I said, I'm a moron.
In the past didn't some FWD vehicles have a differential with separate fluid from the transmission?
Yes, up until five years ago (or so), many FWD Toyota vehicles had a separate final drive unit.
My 1988 Toyota 4 cyl manual shift Camry had the differential and trans lube together.
Meant to say automatic.
actually, some FWD has differential that has a separate fluid to change (my corolla 3spd auto).
I guess I am in the same boat. Both of MY cars are rear wheel drive, so I naturally thought my Dad'a Taurus was, too...

I too have owned RWD/AWD cars all my life (except my first car - a Mazda GLC but I never did much work on that car). I guess that is why I was thinking it had a rear diff - totally not thinking my question all the way through first. It's always humbling to have one of those DUH moments in public view.
I am just glad that this thread won't die, so I can be reminded of it.
