Just a small update, as i'm sure everyone is aware that both companies have been bought by the same owner, Graham Hart. They are both under the Rank Group umbrella.

It is my understanding that next month Champs test equipment will be moved to Fram.

Fram is now handling the tech hotline for Champ.

Champ is expanding manufacturing.

They make the Royal Purple oil filter.

They might be changing the color of the can from orange to purple with steel end caps and more media...like a Royal Purple.

The Fram OCOD may become a valuable collectors item in 100 years.

I believe the oil filter on the engine is not nearly as important as the oil in the engine.

Selling filters...lol. Just hydraulic ones though.

I'm off to Australia in September. Maybe I should hop over to New Zealand and set Graham the Rank Group straight.

Been to NZ twice in the 90's.

And actually i'm off to England next month.

Just doing my thing..

Well there goes customer service.

I used the hot line Friday to get a micron rating for a hydraulic filter. Took a few minutes as the hot line guy tried to call Champ as it was not in the system. He called me back a couple hours later with the information. So I did get an answer.

I could call direct if I have to.
