50hrs on my mower with QS 5w-40. Champ PH400XL and Delvac 15w-40 extreme went back.

Strange bypass I have never seen before The end cap has holes in it and flexes, sorta like a canning jar lid if that makes sense. No defects that I could see. Pleats were a little wavy. I wasnt planning to post it until I saw that bypass.

Looks like the oil never ever got hot.

It takes about 2.5 hours to mow so it gets hot. Seems like a waste of resources now after the fact. I should have ran it 100hrs. There was only so long I was willing to trust a 7 year old $1 filter.

It flexes like the bottom of an old oil can when the dP is high enough, then opens up a bypass path. When the dP decreases, it pops back into the closed position.

This is the real deal CHAMP LABS construction build. Not. Odd at all, actually real reliable. I used thousands of these at my work. Shame Worst Brands corrupted things.
