Found this in the garage for the Chevy Avalanche I no longer own so decided to open it up. These can be had from Rockauto under Champ/Luber-Finer for about $1.60 ea. I never went passed 5k oci when I used them. Enjoy

Media looks nice but I don't like the soft fuzzy looking end caps. Doesn't look like a good sealing surface for the ADBV.

ADBV should seal fine on the end cap. Bet there's an impression from the ADBV like there is from the leaf spring (can see that in the photos).

Looks just like the ACDelco/Supertech filters. Is that ADBV nitrile or the special rubber that ACDelco claims to use?

Looks good, thanks! I don't mind an E-core and the media spacing on these Champ filters always seem to be good. I'm not the biggest fan of the fiber end caps or nitrile ADBV, but that's just a personal preference.

Not a big fan of the combo valve but I would run it.

Edit, or was this a GM application with a engine block bypass valve?

The Purolator 14006 is an application for GM engines with the bypass valve built into the engine.
