The pup wanted a new UTV so went and picked him one up. It’s a CFMOTO UFORCE U10. It’s great and really runs. Almost done with the break in and going to need an oil change. The manual is pretty vague saying to just use car oil but Gemini was saying I need a MA2 oil. What’s the consensus on ATV oil, is it really worth it? Amsoil 5w40 ATV isn’t too bad at $14.50 or so a quart. What’s different with UTV oil compared to other full synthetic oils?

Based on the oil specs called out in the manual (5w-40 or 0w-40 synthetic) I would probably choose Rotella T6 5w-40 or Mobil1 0w-40.

Ignore AI slop and lies. There is absolutely no reason this motor needs MA2. That said, I have run 0w-40 Mobil 1 and 5w-40 T6 in wet clutch motorcycles in the past with zero issue and excellent performance.

As a side note - you need bigger straps to secure that unit. Those 1" ones are rated for 500lbs on a good day and I have seen many of them fail at less that that. I have seen the aftermath of a SxS come off a trailer at speed and it's not good.
Nice SxS and cute dog.
