I talked to the Cenex tech today, his name is Ken Marsh. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his willingness to share it. The Maxtron synthetic/blend diesel is made from 70% group II basestocks w/ 30% PAO base. Can anyone tell me if that is normal, good or bad? The oil does meet Mack EO-N premium plus, which I think is Macks highest. It also meets alot of the other tests as well.
The diesel oil comes in 15w40 and 5w-40 and the price seems right at apx. $9.60 gal. I'm tempted to try a fill and pull a sample. Mike
