You're correct in stating the MAF sensor is not covered under the 3yr/36k miles warranty. I called my local Nissan dealer to check and they confirmed.
I turned the car on yesterday and the CEL was OFF. I haven't done anything to the car, so wondering what could have caused the random CEL?
