My engine holds 6qts of oil.Does anyone know how much synthetic oil is in Castrol SynBlend? I bought a 5qt container and 1 qt of the CSB (5W20) at Walmart last night.Would it benefit the engine any better if I were to replace the 1 qt with 1 qt of SynTec Edge,or just run the 6qts of SynBlend and leave it at that?

Put it all in your not gonna make or break anything.
I'd just run the synblend, one quart of Edge is going to make much difference IMO. Now if you had a quart of Edge sitting around to get rid of, yeah great blend.

I called my local NAPA this morning after looking at their current flyer.They have Valvoline synthetic oil for $5.19 a qt.,and in 0W20!
I called to see if it was in stock and parts dude says,"Valvoline don't make an 0W20 and M1 is the only one in the oil business that makes an 0W20.We have plenty of it in stock." I told him Valvoline does make a 0W20 and he should look it up.He asked for my number and said he would call me back.He called back and said he could get it for me but I'de have to buy 12 qts. minimum.I said thanks,but I'll pass.
I wanted to find an 0W20,besides M1,to put in my engine.AAP and PBs are the only ones that have 0W20 in different brands but they are over 50 miles away. I used to run MC 5W20 so I think the CSB will work just fine.

My friend helped me change my oil earlier today.The temperature in the morning is supposed to be 28*-35* so we will see how well the CSB works.
