Just noticed Advance Auto started carrying the new Castrol 4T (10-40)and Vtwin (20-50) synthetic oil....labels and marketing seem to be aimed towards Mobil as their competition. It lists for one dollar cheaper per quart than Mobil. Does anybody have any experience with this oil? Is it better than the mobil? Any oil tests done? Thanks

I saw this stuff about a week ago at Walmart, and it was $8.92 per quart. They only had the 20W-50 as the 10W-40 was sold out. There was no Mobil 1 in sight.

it would be hard to be worse than their 4T motorcycle specific conventional oil.

when a 20w50 ends up at a susvis of 77.3 after just 1 hour.

do you really want to trust it longer?

GTX was not much better.

the ONLY oil from castrol that has been worth a BLEEP was the much acclaimed (and for good reason) syntec 0w30. which beat a lot of 10w30 and a few 10w40s!!!
