Castrol Mercon V

Castrol say their Mercon V "exceeds" the Ford spec for Mercon V.
How does it stack up against other brands of conventional, licensed Mercon V? I have used the Supertech in the past, but wanted to try the Castrol. Is $1.75 more a quart worth it vs the Supertech?

Agree completely. This is a economics decision as the supertech is less expensive and both are Mercon V rated fluids(both are non-synthetic based). I have always had great results using supertech atf's.

Check the PDSs. Castrol Mercon V actually has some of the weaker specs out of the major label Mercon Vs.
