Castrol GTX/Magnatec?

As the former MAGNATEC, now GTX, no longer seems to be produced, will Castrol replace it with something else or possibly reformulate it? I haven't seen it since the recent clearance at Walmart either online or in the store.

I found out last week that all of the Walmart stores in central Ohio were out of stock on Castrol Full Synthetic in all grades.
I called Walmart customer service and was told that all Walmart stores in all of Ohio were out of stock.
I called Castrol customer service and was told that Walmart is no longer selling the Castrol GTX Full Synthetic.

Walmart has also discontinued sales of the gold bottle Castrol Edge Extended brand.

Amazon is selling the GTX Full Synthetic product but just raised the price from $26.27 to $33.99. So much for an entry level price!

I haven't seen the gold bottle at Walmart or Oriellys in awhile. I bought Castrol edge a few weeks ago from Walmart.
