What sucks is that the AZ's and O'Reilly's here stopped carrying it. Napa is the only place now. I remember Walmart carrying Syntec 20W50 the short time Castrol was making it. Walmart used to sell every brand and every weight imaginable,and cheap too!
 
Do the straight weights like SN rated SAE 30 HD oils have reduced ZPPD levels too, as per regulation standards?
 
If you want a high zinc 30 or 40 oil, give Delo 400 mono grade a try. From what research I've done, most SN oils are using one add pack across their whole conventional line up, so you're probably looking at 800 zinc and 700 phosphorus in a typical SN 30. Delo 400 30 is CF/SJ rated and has 1220 zinc, 1100 phosphorus.
 
Or, you can have a narrow multi with Delo 400 SD (severe duty) 15w30 with 1200 ppm zinc. Very stout oil
