Castrol Edge 5w-40 vs Edge Professional 5w-40?

Apparently what the VW/Audi dealerships use is the Castrol EDGE Prof 5w-40. However, when I compare the tech sheets, all the physical properties and all the mfg approvals are identical to the regular Castrol EDGE 5w-40. The only difference appears to be that the Prof version is available in bulk/55 gal drums.

Or are there some additional differences that I missed?

I think prof has dye, which apparently is big thing among customers. Go figure out!

It also appears that the Fluid Strength Technology was used in the OE stuff, unlike the ordinary 5W-40. OE would then have Titanium.

All the regular Edge Black grades now have titanium as well.

I avoid the confusion and just use the 0W40 HAHA
