My Walmart keeps the Castrol 5W30 Euro K on the shelf here, you can also order it to pick-up or have it delivered to your door on a $35.00 on-line minimum order. This particular Castrol 5W-30 meets the specs you are looking for and also meets the spec I always look for which is the Euro ACEA C3. The C3 gives you the >3.5 HTHS {related to oil film strength). Anyhow, Walmart also sells the Mobil 1 0W-30 ESP Euro oil in 5qt. jugs and quarts that meets the specs you are looking for also. Anyhow, here is a link to Castrol Euro K oil that meets your specs at Walmart. The only oil I can find at WM with the VM 504 approval is Castrol 5W30 Euro. However while the jugs do say 504/507 spec, all the quart bottles say 502/505. So what's going on with that?
M1 ESP 0W-30 is VW 504, and it's in almost every Walmart. Why not run that? The only oil I can find at WM with the VM 504 approval is Castrol 5W30 Euro
That's M1 Euro FS which has VW 502 (FS = full SAPS).As for M1, the WM here had a single "Euro" version that was not 504.
I am not a Mobil oil fan-boy, but they do make good lubricants. The current Mobil 1 0W-30 ESP sold at Walmart around the USA today does meet the 504 spec. It is 504/507 and if it matters, 502, Porche C30, and your current and past Mercedes Benz specs. Plus the ACEA C3 I like. I have a Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30 5 qt. jug literally in my hand that I bought at my local Walmart about 2 years ago. this oil is 504/507. But you are right, you can get the Castrol Euro K 5W-30 a little cheaper in the 5 qt jugs right now. Here is a link to the actual Mobil Oil PDF sheet on their ESP Euro oils.As for M1, the WM here had a single "Euro" version that was not 504
It helps if you look for an oil, any oil, that has the approval you're looking for rather than brand.OK, well the design/colors/Euro product name on the qt bottles looked identical to the jugs. I see now the jugs have the "K" letter, not a real obvious way to tell the difference between their products.
As for M1, the WM here had a single "Euro" version that was not 504. Also the Castrol was cheaper (current "rollback" price of $23.xx).

Castrol 5w-30 K meets 504/507 and is recommended for 502/502. Is that what you’re seeing? Others have had similar questions about the oil being ACEA C3, and also says it meets A3/B4 on the front of the bottle, which is not possible. An oil cannot be both. The back of the bottle clarifies and just says recommended for A3/B4.The only oil I can find at WM with the VM 504 approval is Castrol 5W30 Euro. You are right I missed that when posting a giant picture of it right above your post...Yes it says—European Car Formula. (right below the green stripe)
Yes, correct.Sounds like the new 5w-30 k and old 5w-30 sl are sold together.
The “K” is definitely available at Walmart. That’s the one that was twice on the crazy sale for ~$8/jug earlier this year. The easiest way is to get M1 ESP 0W-30 at Walmart.
Regarding Castrol, you need either EDGE Euro 0W-30 LL or EDGE Euro 5W-30 K. Those maybe available only in the auto parts store, not sure about Walmart.

These are all Castrol EDGE Euro oils:

An oil cannot have both ACEA Sequence C3 and A3/B4. Prior to 2010 it could, but no longer. I'm not sure what you mean by "compatible", the poster is talking about what actual Sequences the oil holds or can hold.Yes, it's possible.
For example—ACEA C3, Porsche C40, and BMW LL-04 are backwards compatible with ACEA A3/B4, Porsche A40, and BMW LL-01. But not vice versa. And that is mostly because of emission specs (GPF/DPF).
There are plenty of threads about those approvals on here.
It doesn't have both. It's ACEA C3 approved oil but can be used (compatible) in ACEA A3/B4 applications as well.An oil cannot have both ACEA Sequence C3 and A3/B4. It may be backwards compatible in some cases, but an oil cannot meet both C3 and A3/B4. Just like API oils are backwards compatible with older API specs, but an average API SL oil won’t meet SQ because of the additive levels for one thing.Yes, it's possible.
