Ran this on my Jeep for about 50 miles. My Jeep is picky with filters so it had to come off. Not a huge fan of this pleat spacing, but this might model suffer from the PH16/ PH8A wide pleat spacing/ lack of media construction. It also had a WIX spring style bypass vs. what is found in the Fram lineup.

I am going to run a small one this spring on one of the tractors so we shall see.. but that cut and post will be spring 2017.

The red I weighed was heavy compared to other filters.

After looking at that filter, it looks like a Fram extra guard with metal caps. The pleats on my ACDelco ecore look great compared to that.

Oh yeah. This filter was very heavy. The can from the ProSelect I cut open was pretty flimsy compared to this thing.

Can thickness is over-rated though. Just like silicone ADBV's and cold flow.

Even though the pleat spacing is pretty wide in a few places, it looks like there was no evidence of the pleats trying to fold over and tear.

What did the jeep not like about the filter? Im not sure my Rogue likes the Mann-Hummel filters im running either. SO far its the Honda pcx-004 for the Altima / Rogue 2.5

My Jeep is extremely picky about ADBV's, not sure about his. Looks servicable but nothing to go out of your way to get, it does remind me of an older PH16 with metal endcaps.

Thanks for the cut and post.
