hahahaha! Cheezboerger?

I live about 15 miles from Busch stadium. Great pitching on both sides, but of course we love the Cards.

I'm a bit surprised by the lead that the Cards have in the series right now. Thought it would be closer.

BTW, the Tigers beat the Red Sox tonight (score was only 1-0) to start the ALCS with a 1-0 lead. A bit of a bummer here since it's Red Sox territory, but I think that it will be a good series.

They could not have been closer. Both turned on an eyelash. Cards could have easily been 0-2. But, that is the way of baseball. I hope the Cards make a multi-run rout out of the Monday game.

The Cubs rule in one category. When you go to Wrigley Field, you get your money's worth. You always get to see a full nine, because the Cubs usually bat in the bottom of the ninth.

Have to. The post game coverage yesterday was Vin Scully this and Dodgers (insert key figure) interview there with the occasional, oh yeah, the Cards won.

Good close games. Great pitching on both sides but just a couple of hits for the Cards and they get the wins. Dodgers bats have gone quiet. Yeah I am a Dodger fan but I cant complain about the Cards, they are a great team and class team and if they win out and go to the series, I will be pulling for them over Detroit or Boston.

Good thing I'm not a Cubs fan in this case. But at least they are iconic to the sport, along with Wrigley Field, the late Harry Caray, and all...

I think the Cardinals have this thing won, unless they get overly confident and lackadaisical like game 3. The Cardinals professionalism and playoff experience trumps the Dodgers excitement and recklessness.

I'm thinking it'll be yet another St. Louis/Boston World Series.

Have you ever seen or heard a worse bunch of announcers ? It's Dodgers this and Dodgers that....and they must not have monitors up in that bush league TBS booth because all 3 are continually missing the calls.

I am pretty sure the Dodgers are done. They simply cant get any hits and when they do, they either get picked off or left out there. The Cards are simply too good and have all the experience of playing in the championship series and it shows.

I agree that the announcers on TBS are just plain awful! I muted it and had the radio on.

They've probably long ago written off St. Louis as "flyover territory". They'll all pile on the Boston bandwagon soon enough! Stay tuned.

Go Cards!
