Car stalling coming to a stop

So does it have an egr valve? If no other suggestions work you can cut a sheet out of an aluminum can and use it to block off the egr at the intake. If it fixes the stalling it's an egr problem and you should fix it properly (but the aluminum can will last quite a while and the main downside is a check engine light as long as it does leak or melt somehow)

Hi, I have a 15 Taurus with the 6F50 that has stalled when stopping at an off ramp. This has happened a few times, but it's only when the car is fully heated up. If it doesn't stall the RPM will dip for a second down from the 600 idle, to 350ish rpm then recover. When it stalls I can start it up right away as if nothing happened.

I took it to a transmission shop, the replaced the torque converter, valve body, and solenoid module but the issue is still present :/

All these months passed. Trade in that money pit.

Has fuel pressure been checked? Could be a so so fuel pump if it is doing it on an off ramp.

My first thought as well. Dying fuel pump.

Ford has duty cycle readings that may be in place of psi, however your symptom is one of the flashing big red neon signs of a dying fuel pump.

It may even re-start right away and run fine, for a time, gradually getting worse until it will just crank no start. It will eventually do it again, until it becomes a repeatable cycle and the car becomes dangerous to drive because it might buck and stall merging into traffic. Dangerous. Slow death of the fuel pump.

As a starting point of diagnosos. If it's that. And it may not be. Still, start with the fuel filter and re-evaulate. Start with simplest first.

I mean I've had some great Fords. Heck even those "newer" Tauruses are really nice vehicles compared to what else was out there at the time - light years ahead of Accord and Camry in terms of performance and ride quality.

The last generation that saw police fleet use had EcoBoost Turbo engines, sometimes performance packages and were on a whole different platform, if I recall correctly.

Why not fix it? Car is fine otherwise, where I live any newer car has $500 a month insurance hence why I'm holding on to this!
I'm just salty that nobody in Canada can diagnose an issue, we don't have a check engine chuck here!

The duty cycle was a solid number didn't change, not sure if it's supposed to varry?
Aside from the scan code is there something I can test?

The filter is built into the pump so id have to replace it
