Car Deal Fell Through...

I've enjoyed reading this saga. The fact that you had a specific color in mind seemed to complicate things, must be a popular one.

You said it had no option packages, so does that mean it has cloth seats? What comes stadard? Just curious.

Congrats on the new car.

Not necessarily. The deal on the Mazda 3 worked out fine for the most part, and it was all done through phone/e-mail-- from 400 miles away!

Same here. We got an excellent price on my wife's Mazda3 completely over email and phone, very straightforward deal.

Yup, it has cloth seats.

While it is a "stripped" car, it is the 3.5SR V6 trim--which is the top-of-the-line Altima model.

As far as major features, the 3.5SR trim comes with a sports-tuned suspension, 17" alloy wheels, foldable heated outside mirrors with turn-signal indicators, auto on/off headlights and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Of course, it comes with the usual power windows/locks/mirrors and power driver seat. And it also comes with the usual Nissan push-button start system.

I am going to post a summary of the entire story in the photo section along with that lousy camera phone photo.
