I also posted over at t4r.org.
Well I'm in a predicament. A little over a year ago I traded my 2006 4Runner in on a 2013 Subaru Legacy. We were living in the DC area and I was commuting 2 hours a day and a sedan was just more practical.
Fast forward to today and my situation has totally changed. I'm working from home full time and we're looking to relocate to a much more rural part of Virginia. I've missed my 4Runner every single day since I traded it in on the Legacy. Now that I'm not commuting and we're moving I've been thinking about trading in the Legacy for a 2013-2014 SR5.
Question is, is it worth it to take a bath on the Legacy? It only has 12K miles and it's a year old. I'm betting I'll get around 8K less than I paid for it at trade in. Would you do it? Also, is it worth it to get a new 5th gen or should I be looking for a clean 4th gen? I loved the 4th, haven't test driven a 5th yet.
