Watching ESPN now, the scrolling words on the bottom of the screen read:

"Program Alert: Super Bowl XLIII postgame news conferences after the game".

Rant:

ESPN is effing garbage. Sure, SportsCenter is OK sometimes, minus the east coast team bias.

HOWEVER, ESPN charges something like $2.00 per subscriber on regular cable systems. Because of craaaaaaap like this, the average cable bill racks up to $50+ dollars per month. I gave up, and now only subscribe to basic basic CH 2-13 per month. Cable is a HUGE waste of money along with being a HUGE brain drain.

Seriously, skip it. Read a book, you'll be all for the better.

Did withut cable all these years (I'm 61). Did without cell phones and other electronics without a monthly fee. Put all that money I wasn't spending on the principal of my mortgage. Paid off a 30 year in 9 years. My son is doing the same. Cable is a HGUGE waste of money. Acuratech is right on. READ BOOKS!
Public library is free and you benefit from the knowledge.

True, but in the middle of the night with a stomach bug, anything that takes the mind of the issue at hand is a good thing...

I never have had cable I never could justify the money for anything cable offered that couldn't be gotten elswhere for way less. 123 channels and nothing good on to watch.
