Can't Access iCloud Photos Anymore On PC

I used to be able to access my iPhone photos in my PC because they would show up as iCloud Photos towards the bottom in File Explorer. They are not showing up anymore in File Explorer. It was useful because I could post phone pics in this forum and elsewhere without having to transfer the photos into Google Drive and then download into my PC.

How do I get my iCloud photos back?

Mine are still there when I click the menu in the upper right hand corner.

why would you look at an iphone when you want the photos on PC?
isnt there an app for PC to get the photos directly?

Thanks, Rand. I downloaded iCloud for Windows and can now access iCloud photos on my PC. I used to be able to do this previously but something changed.

As to my iPhone screenshot, I was responding to wwilson. The screenshot he posted looks like a iPhone screenshot.

You don't need iCloud for Windows, just log into icloud.com with your browser.

My screenshot was from iCloud logged on via a browser on my PC.
