Did you get a discount code from the Sales forum? Glad to hear it went well for you. I have to agree, it is strange that it's cheaper to buy down there and have it shipped for a substantial savings. I will definitely be checking there first before I buy anything locally.
Only thing I see is that heavy parts and the cost of shipping may make it prohibitive, brake rotors for example. This is offset for me by the fact that I can choose from multiple brands and grades as opposed to my local parts store that has one option.
