A VOA was just done of the Canadian, dealership-only Castrol '4718M' oil. It is here:

Take a look at US-availiable Castrol 'Edge' 5W-30:

Almost the exact same, down to TBN.
It IS also fairly similar to regular Syntec 5W-30:

Even with this, the reason I think it is actually re-labelled Edge is that 4718M is a high-temp requirement; so IF Edge has more PAO in its base oil, it will be able to meet this requirement easier than a thin group III oil.
