HM is more than just the seal additive. The other additives are increased and the base stock is thicker (less loss of more volatile components)...but, more importantly, what is it you're trying to fix, and on what car?
I've had a RM seal that weeps slightly on my 1990 Toyota since about oh, 1996 or so...but it only leaks a bit, so the Truck gets whatever synthetic is on sale and I don't worry about the leak, just add a QT every 2K or so...way, way cheaper and easier than replacing the RM seal on a 4WD with a transfer case...
So, knowing why you want stop-leak, and on what type/year and mileage of car, would really help answer the question...
