I accidently left 5 soft plastic dental picks in my pants pocket and put the pants in my front-loading clothes washer. After washing the clothes I realized what happened but can't locate any of the picks. Is it possible they're still lodged in the washer? If so can they cause damage? Just wondering if I need to open the washer to locate them. They're about 1" each

these are the dental picks:

I had an ink pen come apart and the ink tube/tip went through the washer holes in my front loader. It lodged in the rubber tub connection hose and perforated it causing a leak.
Watch for leaks for the next few weeks.

a hose like this one.

front load washers sometimes have an access panel in front, at floor, behind which is a cleanout where things that get thru washer like the odd sock are captured before they go down the drain...

There may be a filter also.

Someone I know says that underwire bras damage the (expensive) seal in his front loader.

I just hooked up a Frigidaire front loader I bought on CL. I have washed clothes in it maybe 5 times. Was looking today and saw a piece of wire maybe 10" long stuck around the tub & seal. I pulled it out. Not sure what to make of it. I hope its not part of the wiring harness.

This purchase was a decent price but I was unable to test it. The spin does not work and I am sure it has to do with the lock. So much for trusting people.
