My Pilot takes 5W-20. Is it a bad idea to use MaxLife (non-synthetic) which is advertised for cars over 75,000 miles?

Why don't use just use one of the quality 5W-20 oils that are out there; Castrol GTX, Pennzoil, Motorcraft, Exxon or Mobil just to name a few. Forgot to add:

If it was FREE, it won't hurt to use it. But it's not worth buying it when there are excellent 5w20s out there.

430 F is not very high? That is a great flash point! I don't doubt Havoline has a good flash point too, but not MUCH higher.

If you download the 5w20 & 5w30 Havoline dino PDF....

It says that 5w20 has a Flashpoint of 460 *F

and the 5w30 Havoline has a Flashpoint of 450 *F

Well 450 F is substantially higher than 430 F, but many oils are not even 430 F. Both are very good flash points, but NOACK would be the better number to look at and Valvoline does not give it except as a less than value.
