For months on multiple jobs I used Varsol with this engine cleaning gun - the wand style 3 foot ones. Then recently I was using Laquer thinner in it, and it was working for a few hrs, and then the thing stopped working completely, as in it wouldn't suck anything through the clear vinyl hose. No suction power, even with hose off stuck my finger on the little hose barb.
Is this just a coincidence, or are there some rubber seals or o-rings within these guns that could have swollen from the Laquer Thinner, that caused it to break.
I notice the clear vinyl hose swelled up after use in the L.T. and the tiny metal suction blocker thing at the end of the hose came off, and fell into the L.T. can, because the hose swelled so much.
