Can dino go 6K

For a GM car, I would recommend 3000 miles on the first OCI and then 5K with dino or 7500 with non-extended syn or 10% on the OLM afterwards. If you are using extended syn M1 Extended or Castrol Edge you can go 10K and run the OLM 2000 miles past zero.

Guys/Gals,

The oil is the factory fill oil and filter. Currently upon my return it should have about 5700 or so on the odometer as my trip from Los Angeles to Arizona nd back should be about 800 miles. In either case I'm an easy 1000 miles past the 3K mark to change it out. I figure now it's just better to wait and do it when I return. I intende to automatically switch over to a synthetic like Castrol "Syntec" in the proper oil weight.
