Can coolant PH be tested using digital PH testers?

Hi folks,
Recently saw this coolant test strips recommended by car care nut

So, one of the two tests is PH test. I wanted to see is there any issue with using digital PH meters for coolant? Any reason those devices might not work on coolant (assuming the device is calibrated for water/pool usage) ?

Probably best to check it side by side with a test strip to make sure the 50% coolant isn't throwing it off.

It probably will but the response time may be slower the more concentrated the glycol. I spent a good chunk of my early career measuring pH in non-aqueous solutions. The more water the better.
