Can anyone remember?

Hello everyone. Can anyone here remember or tell me when WAL MART came out with their TECH 2000 motor oil? Was it in just quarts or a 4qt jug? I have some older Super Tech oil thats Mobil conventional in my garage.

They had it in 1996 when I first set foot in a store. In USA they dumped it in 1999 for pre y2k.

They had jugs in 1998 ish if not before and as I remember they had more 5 quart jugs than other brands. You could still get cases of twelve quarts on the bottom shelf, they kind of moved away from that more recently, maybe it was sticker shock?
