Can anyone help - Correct Transfer Case Fluid

I'm trying to determine the correct transfer case fluid for my BMW X5. Dunno it it's just regular Dex III fluid or the specific fluid that the transmission calls for which is the Esso 71141.

I see on Amsoils site they list their Multi ATF. At one point, their ATF did not cover the Esso 71141. Dunno if it was a formulation change or testing, but apparently they do now......

I have plenty of the Esso 71141 fluid. Just dunno what is the CORRECT speced fluid for this application.

WHATEVER YOU DO....DO NOT USE THE ESSO 71141...your tcase will disolve.....besides maybe you shouldn't be changing the oil.....you belong in Management at the company I work for......
