I have to find a source for this type connector, also for the female counter piece. The smaller one is ca 2.5 mm, the larger one ca 4 mm diameter. They are part of an AMP 5-prong (3 large, two small) connector. I want only the connectors, no attached wiring. I "believe" BUSS has this type connector, but I am not sure.

Does anybody know where I can find just the plain metal connectors (pins and sockets)?

The pins were removed from this 5-prong AMP connector:

I want to install larger diameter wire, hence the need for just the connectors.

ugggh, I saw these someplace not too long ago... seriously...

Ill think hard...

Off the top of my head, perhaps you can use the old-style k-type thermocouple leads (Omega.com might have them)...

Ill think harder.

I'd rather buy those over the counter than a sack of 1,000 online. As you can guess, those parts are also for my headlight wiring mod project!

Don't know what the diameter is, but bought that style pins to repair cable on my John Bean wheel alignment machine a few months ago. Purchased a 5pk (best I remember) at Radio Shack.
