Can all members please post known oil filter efficiencies??

Singlepass. Per the SAE HS806 it's 94% efficient -but I really need to get this spec. to find out how it works. Same test M1 was 93% ,Pure1 was 93%, Napa Gold 82%.

I don't have beta numbers.

EDIT => What I see is typically the SDF-15. When I ask corporate it depends on who I speak with.....

Hey Metroplex.....what oil filter are you using? What's the Motorcraft number of the PI oil filter for your Ford?
There is pretty good coverage of the Ford FL-1A style oilfilters on the Oil Filter Study site since the study was done on FL-1A compatible filters including the FL-1A. The test states that the Motorcraft FL-1A is a PurOne filter cartridge in a Ford spec housing. The Fl-1A is made by Purolator.The test regards the FL-1A as one of the best filters for the Ford and on top of that being not too expensive either.

Right now I have to use FL-300 (I'm using Penske PH43 at the moment which is the equivalent).

The basic numbers, ie. 98% efficiency at 10 microns, for ex. are meaningless without flow rates. If the filter will only flow 1 gpm while filtering a certain percentage, then much or most of the time its in bypass mode. Viscosity and temperature will also affect this equation.

can someone post a comparative oil filter. flow rate vs efficiency...mainly i want to know bosch's flow rate vs mobil 1 flow rate, for my 91 accord...basically all hondas cause its the same. it would really help..
