I just had a Caliper Bracket bolt come off so I bought a new one that came with Red Loctite. Should I remove it and apply the Blue Loctite?

In Michigan I would be more worried about a caliper bracket bolt getting stuck via corrosion verus backing out. I would just make sure to torque it down properly.

I have never had a bolt come loose from a bracket, indeed on my own cars I actually put never seize on braket bolts so I can get them off in the future.

I had the same thing happen to me on my F150 about 3 weeks ago. My bolts also came with a thread locker on it.
I took the ones off the other side and put some blue locktite on them (and left the stuff on the new bolts)

+1 Anti-Seize on the threads.

Torque to spec.

An observation I've made is that Loctite seems to inhibit corrosion on the threads. It appears to fill and seal the gaps that normally occur with a threaded fastener.

I would check the repair manual to confirm the type of loctite required. Have heard that some GM vehicles do call for red loctite on the bracket bolts.

It is.

I'm going to put anti-seize around the exposed end (head of bolt).

I had a rear caliper bracket lose a bolt n a Ford Taurus once. Was on a 4 hr drive to Michigan and went to use the brakes and had none. The bracket had tipped back, threw the pads out and the the piston hyper extended blowing the seal.

I've always used some blue loctite on them from then on.

Remember that anti sieze lubricates so you actually end up over torquing with it (Some say 10-20%). Maybe that is why I never had a problem with losing a bolt.

That's not necessarily true. Blue loctite is not hard to remove or green for that matter. Fords come from the factory with loctite on them
