Most of the CA grapes are sold here in late summer and early fall. Then the pesticide-laced Chilean imports arrive.

Not the ones that make the Rieslings that we sometimes enjoy...
 
At our large mid-west grocery chain we have had California table grapes for about a month now. The quality from our suppliers is good. Seen better seen worse. Personally I like my grapes on the crunchy side and the sweeter the better. We ususally have California grapes till late November to mid December. The last variety of California grapes each season are the Holiday Seedless from Columbine Vineyards.
