How are the grapes up in WA?

It is actually about one month late...

Usually we have grapes in early to mid May, this year it is a little late and the quality is not so good.

Most of the CA grapes are sold here in late summer and early fall. Then the pesticide-laced Chilean imports arrive.

I have my stash of Babcock, Chadds Ford and Boekenhoutskloof so I am good for a while.

At our large mid-west grocery chain we have had California table grapes for about a month now. The quality from our suppliers is good. Seen better seen worse. Personally I like my grapes on the crunchy side and the sweeter the better. We ususally have California grapes till late November to mid December. The last variety of California grapes each season are the Holiday Seedless from Columbine Vineyards.
