This guy was taken off a 6.7L Cummins. Really a virgin filter, just north of 700 miles, and 4 hours of idle time. Uniform all the way around, pleats ripped when a mediocre amount of pressure was applied. Felt like a normal filter in other words. The can was definitely industrial grade, my tin snips would not take the thing, had to break out the old hack saw. A spring held it against the base plate, made me wonder how much of a seal you can get with metal in metal. Louvers were proper, no manufacturing defects at all. Boring filter.
Replaced with two DBL7349 filters in parallel, one of those spaces will eventually house an AMSoil bypass filter, kind of hurting from the purchase still.
