Flashlight test attempt, the light is barely coming through, what do y’all think? Made sure to push the leaf spring in all the way

I think the gap looks wide. There is a black dot in the right in the gap, may be where a spring protrusion is contacting, lifting the spring up. But it looks like a lot of gap to me.
