Bye Bye Kohler - Kohler Energy bought by Private Equity firm and is now "Rehlko"

Its the same company, but rebranded. Rehlko is Kohler but jumbled a bit with letters. I'm not happy that they no longer make certain products, but it is what it is. We'll see if they remain a leader in commercial generators.

Small engines will be down to just Honda, Chinese copies of Honda built under license ("Chonda"), unlicensed Honda knockoffs, and other Chinese engines unrelated to anyone else's designs.

Briggs has already gone down the gutter, and IDK how much staying power Kawasaki has. Yamaha left the small engine market years ago.

Honda was always a powerhouse there, but when you don't have decent competition, quality inevitably goes down.

Yamaha still makes small engines. We just don’t see them here. Unsure why?
