Buying gasoline in bulk

New type of investiment I suppose. The five gallons of lawn mower gas in the garage I got last year for $2 a gal is the only thing driving my networth up these days.

The fuel isn't sitting in the tank for 4-5 years. The Fuel Bank does maintain larger than usual tanks to ride out short term and some medum term trends, but the long range is dealt with by buying futures on the open market. Thus the fuel you purchase at the bank is just fine. Too bad these guys don't run the same operation down here in the Twin Cities.
