Buying gasoline in bulk

If we had this around here, & gas would come down to the $2.50/gallon range, I'd buy $1000 worth in a heartbeat.

According to this story, some folks are still pumping gas they paid $1/gallon for back in '02.

The fuel isn't sitting in the tank for 4-5 years. The Fuel Bank does maintain larger than usual tanks to ride out short term and some medum term trends, but the long range is dealt with by buying futures on the open market.

Thus the fuel you purchase at the bank is just fine.

Too bad these guys don't run the same operation down here in the Twin Cities.
