Dont know about that one but the one I have on my 2021 Honda HRV works great...no chips on the front of the hood or on the hood ar all...Windshield is Chip free too....
I could have used one for my Focus and evo. IIRC, both of those cars had a lot of rock chips up front where that deflector is. On my CX5, they all either hit the grill or the windshield.
I only see that as a protector for the hood edge. Not high enough to create any airflow up over windshield IMO. We have them on vehicles at the firehouse. Look nice, protect front of hood.
The old school flat deflectors are chilling with the disco balls and fuzzy dice.
I had one on our '93 Toyota 4wd PU strippie. As @Pew posted, I have to believe it deflected much of the debris over the cab. Lifted the slipstream, perhaps?
