don't understand why people really drink any alcohol, especially beer, it taste awful, and no I don't care to "try" the maybe good tasting stuff.

I ban ANYTHING owned (even partially) by AB-Inbev from my household. Every last one.
Anyway, that has to be the most hypocritical commercial I've ever seen. AB has been frantically trying to make what they call "craft beers" for a while now because they realize they are losing a LOT of business.
One glorious day, when the CEO of AB is broke and begging for change, I will gladly tell him to eat [censored] and die while holding a Stone, Victory, or Dogfish brew in hand.

I make my own. It is way cheaper and taste better. Plus one batch makes 48 to 50 bottles. Depending on the ingredients it works out to be about a buck a bottle or less.

I think most people who would be offended by this commercial, likely aren't drinking Budweiser anyway. I have friends and family members that only drink craft beers. This commercial pretty much summed up how I feel watching them drink beer. I get that it is a hobby and they really care about taste, but some of them really can be snobs when it comes to beer. They are the first to slam someone, myself included, for drinking anything "cheap". I kind of saw this commercial as getting back at people like that. I am not a beer connoisseur by any means. Bud Light is the only beer I really like. I get a little ribbing for it, but it's what I like.
While I am sure it happens, I personally have never heard a macro brew drinker slam someone for drinking craft beers. I know they have more flavor, but that stronger flavor is what I don't like.

I know I have not tried them all, not even close, but I have tried a great number of them. I will also continue trying them. My friends will make sure of that. Until then Bud light is widely available although a bit over priced.

I really enjoy good beer and not Bud. I almost went into Microbrew industry as I worked a successful one now 20 years ago.
But Bud did a really clever add for their core drinkers. I liked their ad a lot and represents their fans well.

I suppose if you like bitter IPA's you are good to go as seems like there is a race to the bitter. But finding good non-IPA beers can be a challenge.

Budweiser is the Fram of beers. Okay, but overpriced for what you get.
They throw all sorts of adjuncts in the mix, eg, rice. You can taste it if you half heartedly look for it.
It should be cheap like "Simpler Times" at $4/sixer at Trader Joes.
I can get Sam Adams for $9.99-10.99 a 12-er at Market Basket, barely more than bud.

The only people who drink Buttwiper (Budweiser) are women and people who don't like beer.
I agree with the message of the commercial. Craft beers are for sipping, lagers are for drinking. While I enjoy a craft beer occasionally, I'd take a Bud most times because I'd rather have two. My local Costco has Kirkland light beer in a 48 pack of 12oz cans for $22 - it actually has a decent rating on Beer Advocate - might have to check that out. Blue Moon is awful IMO, but to each his own.
