This is kind of ironic, considering that AB InBev has been buying up craft beer companies like Blue Point Brewery, Goose Island, and Shock Top. But I guess once assimilated, they are no longer craft beers. They become the big corporate swill.

I haven't drank in almost 9 years. But this is how I see it: For the most part, people who drink Budweiser, do so out of lack of experience, a closed mind, and sometimes, just plain ignorance or prejudice.

I would only drink a Bud if I was out of money and out of beer, and someone handed it to me.

There are a TON of AB fans around here that simply won't drink "a dark beer" (as they call them) because they think drinking AB is what real mean do, and don't won't be associated with those girly boys who drink "that dark beer".

To each their own. Live and Let Live.

Wow, Macro vs Micro blanket opinions. Almost feels like the Selma, Alabama of beers.

I don't drink AB products myself, gives me a headache. Nor am I a regular drinker of craft beers. Guess I'm not fisticated enough in the palate. Give me a fresh crisp MDG or PBR along with a Bookers or Woodford Reserve and call me a happy camper.

The more I go on in life, the more I am becoming less brand specific. Whether it be beer, coffee, cars, oil, guns, tools, etc.

I recently had an IPA called RIPA Red by Carson's Brewery of Evansville Indiana. It was almost a cross between Dragon's Milk and 80 acre. Lol. I dont consider myself a well rounded beer drinker though.. I have a few a month of that, but more in the summer during grilling season. One of my top favorites is Gumballhead though.

Stick to your day job. "Unique" is the last word I'd use to describe it.

I didn't pen that, QP. lol

Maybe "Urinary" would be better?

I need to try some of that!

I see it all the time in stores but I never buy it for some reason. Middle Ages brewery is right in the city and they have some good products. Syracuse Pale Ale is great!

+1 If its beer, I'll drink it. That said, I now usually buy a craft beer as up here, they are the same price as Bud and Canadian. The odd time I get some imports too, but really I don't have enough "mouth memory" to get real specific on preferring only a few brands... The odd time someone will give me a light American beer and it is remarkable how little they taste like anything, but I'll never refuse it.

Live and let live?

Hardly...you completely, and unfairly judged people by their beer choce!

What you said was, "people who drink XXXX beer do so out of lack of experience, a closed mind, and sometimes, just plain ignorance or prejudice"

Now, the Bud commercial that has offended all the beer snobs, like the OP, and you, has done so because it dares to call all of you holier-than-thou beer drinkers snobs. It calls you closed minded....because you judge on a matter of taste.

It's just beer gentlemen. People have different tastes. Those of you who are prattling on about this beer and that, and why your choce is superior, why your taste is better, are in fact, the truly close-minded about a matter of taste.

That's why this commercial upsets you so - it pokes fun at your snobbery about beer.

More beer snobbery?

"I look down on your beer. My beer choice is better"

What next? I look down on your Castrol, it is swill. My engine shall never see your horrible oil.... I am superior because I use expensive boutique oil that costs more. I have better taste than you....

It's interesting to watch all these national brands go out of style. It's happening with restaurants - less and less younger people are going to places like Olive Garden and Red Lobster, opting for small local places.

Same thing seems to be happening to beer, it's all about microbrews now.

I like Sam Adams for a national beer.
