I really want to go here. I have two trips I'm planning over the next year or so. Bryce and South Korea. Couldn't be any more different but I'm looking forward to both. Utah has 5 National Parks all within driving distance.

Bryce is great, as are most of the other parks out west. I liked Painted Desert/Petrified Forest a lot, too.

South Korea sounds cool. We definitely want to do another vacation somewhere in Asia in the near future, although we'd likely choose some less developed country.

I went there several years ago. I was named after that canyon. My mother was pregnant, father was a truck driver, and he drove by Bryce canyon on his way to the West coast. He called my mother at the next truck stop and told her he'd found a name for me.

We went to South Korea last year, actually did Hong Kong > Seoul > Tokyo. It was a great trip, really enjoyed it. Do a DMZ tour. Went back to Hong Kong this week, actually posting this from the flight home. Hong Kong is a lot more "westernized" everyone speaks English and no problem finding food that an American would recognize! We took a ferry to Macau and spent a few nights there.

Singapore is also a great place to visit. Much like Hong Kong, English is prevalent and good food is aplenty.

I haven't been to Bryce Canyon, but have been to Zion - beautiful! I'm sure Bryce Canyon is just as amazing.

You'll enjoy both trips, really good choices.

Definitely worth the trip. Did both Bryce and Zion...beautiful. Another awesome place is the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Don't miss Antelope Canyon, Horse Shoe Bend, Arches National Park, Route 12 etc etc

Just amazing landscape!!

I did Zion, Bryce, Arches, and a few others with my family a few years ago at Easter. Very enjoyable trip. We allowed a full day to explore each park, with driving between parks on the other days. Made for an enjoyable, relaxing vacation. Hotels were easy to find at Easter, but would need to be booked in advance for a summer trip.

I loved seeing Bryce from the rim but I hurt my knee when I was there and wasn't able to hike any of the trails. I would love to see it looking up from the bottom.

There are some fantastic hikes in Zion, but don't expect solitude.

What 02SE said.

Zion is like the South Rim of the Grand Canyon...more commercialized and crowded. Bryce and North Rim of Grand Canyon...less commercialized and less crowded. Going back to South Rim of Grand Canyon in June with the family.
