Last night I was working on my 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan in 20 degree temps. I had to disconnect my electrical connector to my Coil Pack and broke off the tab that keeps it together. Is there a easy fix for this to ensure it doesn't come apart while I am driving? I put it back together and the car runs fine and the connection seems secure, but I don't want the engine vibrations to work this plug loose. I assume if it comes loose when I am driving, the engine is going to just shut off on me. I've attached a picture of a similar part so you can get an idea of what I broke.

I just want to know the best fix, right now I have electrical tape wrapped around it so it doesn't come loose. But I would like a more secure fix.

I just wire tied it together with one of those plastic wire ties. It's probably stronger then the little plastic clip I snapped off Thanks everyone for their reply

Hahaha!! I somehow managed to break one of the ears off the distributor housing on my truck. I had no time to get a new distributor, so my cap is held on with two zip ties in a X pattern around the cap and distributor housing. Been that way for two years now. Forgot all about it until a couple of weeks ago when I did a tune up and replaced the cap.
