Briggs and Straton Van Gaurd 570 v-twin.
We have am emergency generator with that engine.
It is enclosed with air vents.
The engine oil is hosed to a heat exchanger with a fan on it to blow to the outside.
The electric motor is now good now and I was wondering if that engine is air cooled.
While we wait to get a fan if we did have to use it we will have to even if it means smokeing the engine.
If we open up the to of the enclosure do you think that it will cool enough until the power is on again?
It is winter here now and should be below 0 C now on. Could take a month to get a fan in.
My company moves slow like snail.
The engine should be air cooled? Right??
