Brembo OEM replacement rotors...

I waited a year for North American produced Brembo rotors for my Z28, a model with a track record of warping OEM rotors. I would not wait a day for Brembos made in China like those are.
ABSOLUTELY!! There is Brembo & there is Brembo, if made in the EU good, but I doubt that North American consumer would pay that price and
then there is the made in China, Viet-Nam etc, these are sold only on the strength of the Brembo name.
I was not aware that they were also making them in North America, good for them.

I have got generic (only one available) Brembo for POS brakes on Sienna. OE are garbage, Raybestos too. EBC did good. So we will see how rotors do.

The aftermarket Brembo rotors are just your average Chinese brake rotor with a semi-clear coating. Nothing special.

Who said anything about being "special?"
If they go through a set of pads without developing vibrations, that average Chinese rotor is better than Toyota OE rotor. So we will see.
I had Brembo "average" rotor on X5, I have them on VW Tiguan last 7 years (though these could be made elsewhere) and never had any issues. They brake, they do everything you ask them to do without developing some nasty habits.

I've had better results from the dealer Toyota advics rotors on Sienna/Highlander/Camry applications I service than any aftermarket rotor. Less runout and much longer service life before developing pulsation.

I never had Toyota OE rotor that can go 15k, either my SIenna or Land Cruiser in Europe. But I do abuse my vehicles.
But then, my 328 has more rotor surface than Sienna rotors and weighs 1,100 lbs less, and I track it, and does not have pulsating brakes, and has "average" Chinese rotors. EBC rotors on Toyota (Made in England)? No problems. Raybestos also started to pulsate after some 8k. We will see what happens with Brembo. I will install it once I have time as I need to replace leaking struts too and rear shocks.
