Bread Maker Machines

For about two decades I resisted the idea of buying a bread maker. But as I have grown lazier, and to avoid the deterioration of my dollars due to inflation, I bought one last month. Since then I have stopped baking bread, and cakes and pizza dough, myself and have delegated the task to the machine. I am surprised how much time it saves and the outcome is pretty good. The only issue is the odd size format for my machine, and that the mixing paddle is stuck inside the baked good.

But the convenience trumps these two minor issues.

I've been using one for many years. Work great, lots of interesting recipes out there too. During the scamdemic there was a shortage of yeast and bread flour but otherwise my unit is always baking.

The biggest complaint is that people who have them tend to gain a lot of weight.
Not sure about the "lot" of weight but most bread is high in carbs and is not included in a low carb diet.

That being said I have tried some bread that was low in carbs and to be truthful, I'd rather not eat bread if that's all I could have.

I run one my parents gave me years ago. It must be close to 30 years old. I make bread from time to time but I use it primarily for pizza dough.

Got one but was disappointed in the results. Now I make sourdough by hand about twice a week. Nothing store bought can touch it.

Pizza dough the main thing I use now. A loaf lasts me a couple of weeks but we have pizza at least once a week. Set the ingredients in the morning and you have a nicely fermented dough by dinner time.
